Our goal is zero workplace accidents. We see this not as a wish, but as a working method

ARŞ OSGB is an occupational health and safety unit providing services under Turkish Law No. 6331. Our head office is in Çekmeköy, Istanbul.

Every workplace accident is preventable. We don't treat this as a slogan — we treat it as a working discipline.

The goal of zero workplace accidents isn't reached by trying to lower the accident count — it's reached by eliminating the conditions that create an accident in the first place. That's why we build our work around the time before an accident, not after: seeing the risk on site, recording the precaution, and verifying on site that it's actually applied.

Our approach

In most businesses, occupational health and safety is treated as paperwork: a file gets prepared, signatures get collected, and it sits on a shelf until the inspection. Yet both the penalty and the accident are born on site — the very place the document claims to describe.

We build our work the other way round: first the real risk picture on site is mapped out, then the document is produced to describe that picture. This way, the legal obligation is met and lost working days, accidents and penalty risk are actually reduced.

International practice

Legal ground 6331, global scale

In Turkey, the legal framework for occupational health and safety is set by Law No. 6331 — that is the legal basis of everything we do. But the world's most successful OHS practices are no longer built on regulatory compliance alone; they're built on data, artificial intelligence and proactive risk management. We follow these approaches and adapt them to the real conditions of businesses in Turkey.

The goal isn't to go beyond the regulation; it's to deliver what the regulation requires through a better method.

Vision Zero — Zero Accidents

Starts from the premise that every accident is preventable; it brings leadership, risk management and employee participation together in a single framework. One of the most widespread approaches, adopted by hundreds of major organisations worldwide today.

A management-system view (ISO 45001)

Building OHS not as a separate pile of paperwork, but as a process tied into the business's management cycle: plan, implement, measure, improve.

Psychosocial risk (ISO 45003)

The international guideline published in 2021 treats employees' mental health with the same seriousness as physical risk. It's only just starting to be discussed in Turkey.

Predictive safety

Accident counts describe the past. Near-miss records, equipment failures and site observations are evaluated together so risk is scored before an incident happens.

Technologies that turn the field into data

Image analysis, drone inspection, wearable sensors, IoT measurement and VR training are turning inspection worldwide from a periodic visit into a continuous measurement.

Behaviour-Based Safety (BBS)

A rule being written down doesn't change behaviour. When observation and feedback come before punishment, a safety culture takes lasting hold.

Our values

How we work

Regulatory compliance

Instead of meeting obligations at the bare minimum, building a system that's ready for inspection at any moment.

Being on site

We believe risk is managed on site, not with paperwork at a desk. A risk that isn't seen in person can't be managed.

Single point of contact

Expert, physician, training and measurement processes run from a single coordination point.

Traceability

A record of every action taken — who, when, with what finding. Work without documentation counts as work not done.
